I’ve been wanting to get some of my friends together for a girls weekend for the longest time, and this past weekend we made it happen! And we’re going to do it every year :)
I booked my first place with Air BnB and LOVED the experience. Seriously – give it a try the next time you’re traveling, it’s SO much better than a hotel. Especially when you have a tiny human.
This is the cabin we stayed at in Lake Arrowhead, it’s called The Bunkhouse
Pretty awesome, yea?! The kitchen was the main reason why I selected this house, and it was beyond perfect. We cooked, sipped wine, did a puzzle and totally enjoyed every second.
The house is also just a short drive from the Village, so we went and explored Saturday afternoon and did some shopping. Since we’ve been having such stupid hot weather here it was so nice to head somewhere cooler for a few days.
It was also my 28 birthday on Sunday, so I used that as my excuse to get everyone together – but I don’t think I’ll have to twist any arms to get everyone together again next year ;)
