About 2 1/2 pounds and a little over 15 inches long.

How I’m Feeling: I was pretty worn down and fatigued earlier this week, but I saw my Chiropractor on Wednesday and I felt SO much better after that. I got my teeth cleaned today – and man, I’ve never realized how gross I feel after a teeth cleaning. My teeth and gums have been more sensitive this pregnancy – hello gingivitis. I normally have really good mouth hygiene, but my Dr told me the pregnancy hormones do a number on your gums. Huh. And gross.

Belly/Weight: My belly feels tight and hard when he’s pushing his way around in there! I can’t see my stretch marks – but I know they’re just waiting to show up after he comes out. That’s what happened last time! It’s like a balloon, when it’s blown up you can’t see…then when it deflates and there they are!!

Life Changes: Nesting and such around the house. I’m itching to do some more spring cleaning – but it sounds exhausting so I need to wait for the burst of energy to kick in before I really get started.

Movement: Some days I don’t notice his movement as much – could be because I’m busy or distracted. But if I’m concerned I’ll eat and drink something and lay down on my left side for a while with my hand on my stomach and count his kicks. 10 kicks in 2 hours is the golden rule.

Sleep: I woke myself up snoring a few times this week – what?! I’ve also had some crazy dreams. Kelly said I screamed out loud in the middle of the night last night, oops.

Cravings: Guacamole. I could eat it all day long. In fact, I made some for lunch that I’m eating right now :) S’mores. Ha – random. Totally gave into that one last night and made one on the stove.

Exercise: Yep. I have some soreness in my legs and some major tightness in my calves. I’ve been getting calf cramps in my right leg, which I thought was due to not drinking enough water – but I think it’s just lactic acid. Going to try really hard to make it to a prenatal Yoga class soon!

Favorite Pregnancy Moment this week:  Floating in a pool in Palm Springs for Mother’s Day. It was heaven. Riley had a blast in the pool and I was so happy just floating around.

On My Mind:  Next week is 30…that makes it 10 weeks until the end…and I’m thinking that I’ll be more than happy if this guy comes a week or 2 early. 38 weeks…come on out dude!

About 14 1/2 inches long and 14 weeks to go!

How I’m Feeling: OK. I really feel pregnant this time around – and I overdid it on Friday so I had some intense Pelvic Pressure that was bothering me. Saw my OB and Chiropractor this week and everything looks good! He’s very active, and I’m always thankful when I feel him moving around.

Belly/Weight: Eh, gained more last month than I should have. I’m up 28lbs so far, which is ahead of where I was with Riley at this point. I’m more active during this pregnancy, but I’m not on top of my diet as much. Trying to make little changes here and there to keep the weigh gain slowed. I probably “feel” more pregnant because of that weight gain too!

Life Changes: Passed the Glucose test – yay! Man, that stuff is gross. The color is just so wrong. Ick. Trying to be better about resting and taking it easy during the day. It’s hard because I know I have to preserve my energy with Riley since I have to make it from wake up to bedtime. He does take a nice long afternoon nap, so I get a break in the middle of the day – and I totally just sit and try to relax. Sometimes I pay bills or email – but I try to get off my feet during that time.

Movement: We think he’s face-up right now, and that was part of the reason I had so much pressure on Friday. He was flipping. I feel like he’s high – I have little to no appetite and killer heartburn. I really only eat 2x a day because dinner hardly sounds good.

Sleep: Rolling over at night is getting to be more challenging, but I’m still sleeping well thankfully.

Cravings: Sushi. Oh man, I want sushi BAD. I’ve probably mentioned it to Kelly like 5 times lately.

Exercise: Yep. Had to cancel on Tuesday because Riley’s been sick, and a hot mess. Really hoping to get some Yoga in soon. I need it. My Chiropractor told me I need to take deeper breathes. My diaphragm is super tight and deep breaths will help. I try to be more aware of it – and just thinking about it will cause me to take a deep breath.

Favorite Pregnancy Moment this week:  Planning a little early (like a month) 2nd birthday for Riley with a few of his (and our) friends. Thinking about his 2nd birthday is crazy – but also realizing that if we wait too long to celebrate it I could be too preggo, or the baby might be here!

On My Mind:  Parenting a toddler. Had to stand my ground on some tantrum stuff with Riley this week and it’s exhausting and embarrassing when it happens in public. I can’t blame it completely on him having a cold and not feeling well – some of it really is him testing boundaries and getting upset when I don’t give in. Just have to think big picture.

About 14 inches long and 15 weeks to go!

How I’m Feeling: Sleepy. I fell asleep on the couch yesterday while Riley was snuggling with me watching Curious George. I’ve also had an annoying headache on the right side of my forehead for a few days. Pretty good besides that. I feel like I’m so much more active that I was pregnant with Riley – mostly because I’m doing things with him, or constant picking things up/cleaning/laundry. Normal everyday stuff is tiring when you’re hauling around 30lb toddler and a big o’ belly.

Belly/Weight: Getting up from the couch is starting to be a challenge. Riley’s running out of room on my lap too – but he doesn’t seem to notice and just pushes his way in anyway, ha.

Life Changes: My coordination has been a mess lately. I’ve been running into stuff all over the house. Mostly furniture and walls. Bye-bye balance.

Movement: He’s much stronger and getting active for longer periods of time. At my Glucose test this morning he was bouncing all over the place. Sugar!

Sleep: Still sleeping well – but I stayed up too late a few times this week. Riley’s up around 7:00am, so I’m thankful for that.

Cravings: Kelly sent me a Buzzfeed article about In N Out, so of course I want that for lunch today :)

Exercise: Still working out! Going to really try to make it to some Yoga Classes for these last few weeks. I started really enjoying Yoga around this time when I was bigger with Riley. The stretching is so nice. Riley and I are planning to take a Toddler + Me Yoga class next week.

Favorite Pregnancy Moment this week:  Lots of kicking and movement in the evenings reminds me to really slow down and think about this baby. I also read this article – so that got me all excited for future family camping and hiking trips. We did #6 on the list with Riley over Christmas and it was a blast.

On My Mind:  Starting to refocus my mind on life with a newborn. I know what it was like with Riley – so I’m excited for snuggles and portability, and napping on the go. Thinking more about labor, and recovery too. Wondering how labor will go this time around. Still need to pick up some items for NewMerfbaby….changing pad, wipe warmer, diaper pail. I doubt Riley will be fully potty trained by July – but who knows, maybe he’ll surprise me? We haven’t been pushing it – since my only goal was to have him in his Big Brother room and that’s been a success!
